Past Events

2016 was quite a year for Hastings Pier. After reopening in April, we:

  • Jumped around to Madness at our Opening Gala
  • Marveled at the Festival Circus contortionists and clowns
  • Danced to Dizzee Rascal, Happy Mondays and Levellers as they performed live
  • Escaped to Neverland™ for the festive season
  • Enjoyed films in the open air (including the World Premiere of Re: A Pier and first UK outdoor showing of Star Wars)
  • Admired Simon Roberts' Pierdom collection in an open-air exhibition
  • Were dazzled by Chris Levine's light and sound show for the Root1066 contemporary arts festival
  • Showed off our best moves at Pier Jam
  • 'Plundered' the pier for Pirate Day
  • Got crafty at lots of free family workshops

... And much more!

Thank you to all involved for making 2016 such a fantastic opening year.
