The Pavilion restaurant & bar
Following the handover of the catering operation to Hastings Pier Charity on 1st July 2017, The Pavilion has had a makeover and is serving a new taster food menu as well as a selection of beautiful wines and cocktails. The menu will continue to grow as we build our offer over the next few months.
You can also pick up a tasty portion of traditional seaside fare at our Fish & Chip Bar, located at the end of The Pavilion building.
The new catering offer emphasises quality food and drink from local suppliers (including fresh fish from Hastings Old Town), excellent training opportunities for staff, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere with new decor and regular entertainment (please see our Events Calendar for more details on upcoming events).
To book a table, please call 01424 445588.
Visitor notice - from Monday 2nd October: To ease running costs during our quieter Autumn/Winter months The Pavilion restaurant will close on Mondays and Tuesdays. A pop-up café will run on the Upper Deck or in The Deck building (depending on the weather).
The Upper Deck bar & terrace
The Upper Deck bar & terrace is located on the roof of The Deck building. Operation of this space has been handed over to Hastings Pier Charity (alongside The Pavilion restaurant - see above). This is the perfect place to unwind, taking in the outstanding ocean views while enjoying delicious food and drink. Open every day (opening times may vary in the case of inclement weather).
Billycan Coffee By The Sea
Once upon a time a circus rigger rescued an acrobat, high above dot-like heads, in the London O2. Soon after, this couple blew their circus pennies on a lovable mobile coffee van named ‘Billycan’. (Through fear of the unknown effects of sharing breakfast with clowns, they favoured a life by the sea with their family.)
Two harsh winters later - having helped rebuild Hastings Pier, dangling from ropes, battling the elements - they were given the opportunity to bring Billycan to the Pier.
Visit their kiosk for a lovingly-made Union Hand Roasted artisan coffee, plus smoothies and sweet delights. Billycan is no chain, and no part of a franchise, just pure passion for the finest quality, high-end products served in the most welcoming of atmospheres.
Cut In The Hut
An extension to the fabulous restaurant, Cut & Grill, in Battle, Cut In The Hut brings you a selection of homemade burgers, sides, extras along with a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks too!
The Pelican Diner
The Pelican Diner brings a smaller version of its Old Town restaurant to the Pier, with some yummy takeaway treats including locally-made free-range hot dogs, homemade waffles, pancakes and thick made-to-order shakes.
